NEW BEGINNINGS

New Beginnings meets on the last Sunday of the month at 1:00pm in the Parish Hall.

Mission Statement

New Beginnings is an interdenominational outreach ministry at St. Timothy Catholic Church for widows within the parish and the surrounding communities. We gather together in acceptance, understanding, and love to support each other. We are strong and capable women who are determined to continue life’s journey with safe activities and community service.

Vision Statement

New Beginnings empowers widows with a sense of belonging, confidence to embrace a new social and personal identity and to encourage growth in self-assurance. With community involvement and outreach, members will recognize their capacity to serve and realize their unique value in the community. The goal is for no widow to feel isolated and alone.

We have survived a major life event but refuse to be defined by that alone. We will give support to each other and encourage each other to be her best self. We will provide support and offer assistance to those in need within the community. Together we will face a new path and continue on life’s journey.
